Why2Wise — Acceptable Use Policy

Effective from: 22 October 2026

1. Scope

1.1 This Policy applies to every User and to all use of the Platform. Capitalised terms have the meanings given in the Terms of Service. A breach of this Policy is a breach of the Terms of Service.

2. Accounts

2.1 You shall hold one account, provide accurate information, and not share, lend, sell or transfer Your account or access.

2.2 Why2Wise may limit how many devices can be signed in to one account at the same time. Where a limit applies, signing in on another device may sign You out of a device You signed in on earlier. The limit is shown on the Platform.

3. Academic Integrity

3.1 You shall not use the Platform to cheat in, or gain an unfair advantage in, any examination or assessment, or to misrepresent another person's work as Your own.

4. Conduct

4.1 You shall treat every person on the Platform with respect and shall not harass, abuse, threaten, intimidate, stalk, impersonate or discriminate against any person.

5. Prohibited Content

5.1 You shall not host, display, upload, publish, transmit or share any Content that:

5.1.1 belongs to another person and to which You have no right;

5.1.2 is obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another's privacy including bodily privacy, insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, racially or ethnically objectionable, relates to or encourages money laundering or gambling, or promotes enmity between groups;

5.1.3 is harmful to a child;

5.1.4 infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary right;

5.1.5 deceives or misleads about its origin, or knowingly communicates misinformation;

5.1.6 impersonates another person;

5.1.7 threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign States, or public order, or incites the commission of an offence;

5.1.8 contains a virus or any code designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer resource; or

5.1.9 is otherwise unlawful.

6. Dealings Outside the Platform

6.1 You shall not use the Platform to solicit or arrange any dealing that bypasses the Platform with a person You met through it, and shall not share or request contact details, payment details or external links for that purpose.

6.2 Why2Wise may screen communications and Content, including by automated means, and may block Content that appears to breach this Clause.

7. Security and Technical Restrictions

7.1 You shall not: access the Platform by automated means, including bots, scrapers or crawlers; copy, harvest or extract its content, data or outputs; reverse engineer, decompile or probe it; attempt to circumvent any limit, access control or security measure; interfere with its operation; benchmark or analyse it for a competitive purpose; or use it, its content or its outputs to build, train or improve any competing product or service.

8. Fair Use and Fraud

8.1 You shall not manipulate, exploit or abuse any Credit, plan, offer, verdict, review, rating or other mechanism of the Platform, or obtain any benefit by deception.

8.2 Why2Wise may reverse, withhold or forfeit any benefit obtained in breach of this Clause.

9. Mentors

9.1 A Mentor shall respond diligently and accurately, keep confidential all information about Users obtained through the Platform, and not solicit any User for any dealing outside the Platform.

10. Institutes

10.1 An Institute shall use the Platform only for its authorised purposes, shall have a lawful basis for any personal data it provides, and shall not use the Platform to identify, approach or recruit any person on behalf of another institution.

11. Reporting and Takedown

11.1 Any person may report Content or conduct that breaches this Policy to grievance@why2wise.in.

11.2 A report is acknowledged within twenty-four (24) hours and disposed of within fifteen (15) days. Content that exposes the private area of a person, shows a person in full or partial nudity or in a sexual act, or impersonates a person, reported by that person or on their behalf, is removed or disabled within twenty-four (24) hours of the report.

12. Enforcement

12.1 Why2Wise may, at its discretion and without liability, take any one or more of the following actions in response to a suspected breach: remove or block Content; issue a warning; restrict any feature; suspend or terminate an account; forfeit Credits or benefits; and report the matter to the appropriate authority.

13. Outputs

13.1 Outputs of the Platform are for educational guidance only, as set out in Clause 7 of the Terms of Service. You shall not present an output as official, authoritative or endorsed by Why2Wise.

14. Amendment

14.1 Why2Wise may amend this Policy by publishing the amended version on the Platform. Continued use after it takes effect constitutes acceptance.
